Thus, we settle for unhealthy meals that could lead to health problems in the future due to a high rate of mindless consumption.

This is another healthy lunch that doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to prepare. It provides you with fiber and vitamins. Also, it’s easy to prepare. Simply, mix all your ingredients in your food processor, cut your carrots into the desired shape then crunch to make your work partners salivate.

These are the ingredients you need to prepare this lunch: Chickpeas, Olive Oil, Juiced Lemon, Garlic, Groundcumin, Salt, and Medium-sized Carrot.

3. Whole Grain Muffins with Avocados

This meal acts as an energy sustainer. 3 pm meals are meant to sustain you till it’s time for dinner. Therefore, when you prepare this dish, you can preserve it to take to work anytime you desire. Also, the avocado serves as the spread that adds flavor to your meal. It’s the healthy fat to help you have control over your calorie intake. Finally, a 100% fruit drink should do the trick.

These are the ingredients you need: Whole Wheat flour, Ground Flax Seed, Oatmeal, Brown Sugar, Baking Soda, Salt, Cinnamon, Shredded Carrots, Chopped Peeled Apple, Raisins, Milk, Eggs, Vanilla.

These are the healthy ingredients you need to bring this meal to life: Mashed Tofu, Shredded Carrots, Minced Onions, Dijon Mustard, Vegan Mayonnaise, Salt, and Pepper.

How To Pack A Health Lunch For Work

 

Your packed meal should contain some of these nutrients if not all.

    • Fruits and Vegetables are crucial for your lunch pack because they contain complex carbohydrates with natural sugar to give you quick energy for the rest of the day.
    • Whole Grains provide fiber to sustain your energy for the day. Also, they help prevent heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. For example, popcorn, oatmeal, etc.
    • Healthy Fat helps give you control over your calorie intake. Thus, Omega 3 and 6 which are nuts and seeds, Avocado, and Olive Oil are great ingredients to mix with your healthy meal.
    • Protein can’t be ignored. Aside from Protein being your workout buddy, it’s essential that you take protein every day especially if your job is highly physical.
