Thus if you have nut allergies, this sumptuous snack allows you to be flexible and to prepare it to match your taste. Thus, to prepare this snack you would need the following: Oatmeal, Sticky liquid sweetener, like honey or maple syrup, sunflower seed, green pumpkin seed, unrefined coconut oil or extra virgin oil, salt and spices like cinnamon, pumpkin spice blends, and dried fruits. It’s easy to prepare because you don’t need to lit up your oven, simply mix your ingredients in this manner and it’s all set for your taste buds.

This is one of my favorite healthy snacks and the easiest to prepare. You could use it to make healthy snacks for Halloween, Movie nights, gifts for friends and family, snacks for kids, and picnics. Thus, permit me to be biased as I go into details on how to prepare it.

The ingredients required for this snack include Any choice of cooking oil, popcorn kernel, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.

How to prepare it

  • Preheat your cooking pan (your pan must be big enough to contain the popcorn)
  • Add 3 tsp of cooking oil
  • Allow it to heat up

Tip: Put two popcorn kernels in the oil. If it pops white, it means the oil is hot and ready for more.

  • When the oil is very hot, put your ⅓ cup of the popcorn kernel
  • Stir till the kernels start popping
  • Once they start popping, add 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice.
  • Stir continuously till all the popcorn kernels pop
  • When your kernel completely pops white, add a pinch of salt, and serve your delicious snack in a bowl.
