If you’re anything like us, you look forward to the Met Gala every year to see who pulled a big one for the fashion industry. The 2024 Met Gala theme was “The Garden of Time.” If you’re wondering,” When is the Met Gala 2024?” You’re a little late, but that’s why we’re here.
There were so many gorgeous options, but choosing this year’s top five was very hard. Who was it?
5. Tyla

This year, the popular TikTok singer traded in water for sand at the Met Gala. Her dress was made from three different kinds of sand. This Balmain gown was definitely a head-turner. Although it seemed like the gown was hard to walk in, Tyla pulled it off and even accessorized it with an hourglass.
4. Donatella Versace
Miss Versace did not come to play. The designer was escorted in the arms of two men, Jude Law and Andrew Scott. Her pale green gown fit snugly to her body as if she were a goddess caught between two men.
Donatella did not surprise us at the Met Gala 2024, as she typically shows up dressed to impress. The designer styled her long blonde hair straight with a swoop bang.
3. Jennifer Lopez
A timeless beauty, Lopez wore a Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown. J-Lo told Vogue her gown was custom-made and contained 2.5 million hand-embroidered beads. She mentioned that the gown was supposed to resemble butterfly wings to follow the 2024 Met Gala theme.
2. Kendall Jenner
Kendall, also wearing Alexander McQueen, reminded us of Maleficent. This look was from the fall of 1999 for Givenchy haute couture. Kendall was sure to mention that this look had never been worn by a “human,” only a mannequin, prior to her Met Gala look.
She also mentioned that she was very honored to wear the look. and it was a dream come true. Jenner sported long locks down her back to the scalloped cutout in the beaded gown.
1. Lana Del Rey
Looking majestic as always Lana Del Rey appeared at the 2024 Met Gala styled by Alexander McQueen. The Summertime Sadness singer wore a nude-colored mesh dress with branch-like protrusions coming off of it. The top of the dress was similar to that of a veil.
After her recent Coachella performance, Lana has been the focus of the media, and we are so glad to see this.
