Once he was linked to Eduardo Xol’s stabbing, he was arrested and charged with attempted murder. The police booked him at the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio. When Xol died from his injuries on September 20, the police issued murder charges, which were accepted by the District Attorney’s Office. He is expected to appear in court on December 18, 2024. It is still unknown whether or not Gonzalez has obtained representation or if he has been offered a plea deal.
