Former Trump administration official Camryn Kinsey collapsed on air during her Fox News appearance on Thursday. The live broadcast took a frightful turn. The incident took place during a live segment from Fox News @ Night, which discussed remarks from former President Joe Biden. Camryn Kinsey was a guest on the program, giving her thoughts on recent comments made by Biden.
Camryn Kinsey Collapses Live on Air
Kinsey appeared to lose her train of thought before falling from her chair during the broadcast. She said, “This is about incompetency, it’s not about uh, uh, ideology.” She was referring to comments made by former President Biden insinuating that his successor, Kamala Harris, lost last year’s election due to racism and sexism.Â
She struggled to gather her thoughts, and the uhs continued as she couldn’t find her words. Knisey then collapsed from her chair, falling on the studio floor. Caught by surprise, Host Johnathan Hunt reacted, saying: “Oh my goodness, we’re just going to get some help here for Camryn.” Hunt tried to throw the segment to another commentator before, clearly flustered, going to commercial break.
Later, Hunt gave an update. “We want to give you a quick update. Camryn is up and moving. We have paramedics checking her. We will keep you updated. We wish her all the best.” Camryn Kinsey addressed the incident in a post to X, thanking the Fox staff. She said, “Wow, sorry for the scare last night. I want to start by thanking the incredible Fox News team and the EMTs who responded with such speed and care. It was an unexpected and frightening moment, but thanks to their professionalism and kindness, I’m doing well.”
She continued, “To everyone who has called, texted, prayed, or checked in, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant the world. I’m taking it slow, staying hydrated, letting my body rest, and thanking the Lord that everything is okay. It may not have been how I planned to end the segment, but I’ll be back on your TV soon. Hopefully long enough to finally finish my point about Kamala!”
Fox shared a statement with USA Today: “After Fox News @ Night guest Camryn Kinsey fainted during a live on-air appearance last night in our Los Angeles bureau, paramedics were called and she was treated and cleared. We are happy to hear she is now feeling much better and wish her a speedy recovery.”
Final Thoughts
Kinsey, briefly, was the external relations director in the White House presidential personnel office under President Donald Trump. She also sometimes appears as a political pundit on Fox and is from Kentucky. After serving six months in Trump’s first term, she moved on to the far-right political news network One America News Network as a White House correspondent and reporter.
