Nazis: Trump Claims Jewish Prisoners Were Treated With ‘Love’ During Halocaust

Trump discusses Nazis during visit with Netanyahu

Donald Trump has tried his best to re-write Nazis history. On Monday, President Donald Trump met in the Oval Office with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During the meetings, journalists asked Trump what his plan was to get 59 Israeli hostages being held as prisoners in Gaza by Hamas released. Trump quickly dodged the question and began rewriting history and speaking about Nazis and their treatment of Jewish people. During his bizarre rant, he claimed that Nazis should be remembered for their empathy.

Trump Brings Up Nazis

When recounting the conversation he had with released hostages, “I said to them, was there any sign of love?” Trump said as he recounted the conversation. “Did the Hamas show any signs of like, help? Or liking you? Did they wink? Did they give you a piece of bread extra?”

“Did they give you a meal on the side? … Like, you know, what happened in Germany?” Trump said, absurdly comparing the hostages’ situation to the Holocaust, in which Nazis killed six million Jews.

“People would try and help people that were in unbelievable distress,” Trump said suggesting that the Nazis were known for generosity. “No, they didn’t do that, they’d slap us.” Trump went on to state that the hostages had told him about Hamas, while he sat beside the man who was now in charge of Israel’s genocide of Gaza. “Their hatred is unbelievable.

Nazis Comments Lit Up X

Trump’s comments about Nazis, and their kindness during the meeting with Netanyahu had people buzzing on the social media site X. “This isn’t just delusional. It’s Holocaust cosplay. He’s romanticizing genocide like it’s a f*cking history podcast,” one user penned on X.

“Equating hostages held by Hamas to victims in Nazi Germany isn’t just offensive, it’s also a grotesque distortion of history,” wrote another. “He’s always saying the first thing that pops into his head without understanding the weight of those words. And he’s sitting next to the Israeli Prime Minister. Crazy stuff!”

Mounting Tensions Discussed

During their meeting, Trump and Netanyahu also discussed mounting tensions with Iran, Israel-Turkey ties, as well as the International Criminal Court, which issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu last year. Back in February, Trump signed an executive order that imposed sanctions on the ICC over its investigation of Israel.

Talks of Ending the War in Hamas

Trump and Netanyahu spoke by phone to French President Emmanuel Macron, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Jordan’s King Abdullah II before their meeting in the Oval Office. The three leaders have worked tirelessly to try and dampen the tensions in the Middle East. They have also worked together to try and bring an end to the Hamas war.

The prime minister arrived in Washington on Sunday, and not long after arriving at the White House, he met with some of Trump’s senior administration officials, including Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, to talk about Trump’s tariffs.

On Monday, Netanyahu met with Steve Witkoff, who is Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East. During their meeting, Netanyahu assured Trump that he and his government would do all that it could to help erase the United States’ trade deficit.
