For those of you who are unsure what French tip nails are, let’s break it down. A French tip starts with a light pink, nude, or tan base. The goal is that the base is close the to color of the natural nails. This is followed by a thin line at the tip of the nail, creating the French tip.
The OG French tip is a white line across the nail, however, color and additional embezzlement have since been trending. The length of French tip nails is entirely up to you. You can get them the length of your natural nail or you can get them longer. Cardi B for instance, always opts for longer nails.

If you are a regular salon go-er you may be wondering which option is best for the French tip regarding the medium. The typical salon options are gel, acrylic, and regular polish. We love a plain manicure, but if you have shorter nails and are looking for length, gel and regular polish are out the window.
Acrylic French tips are the most durable option. Not only are they the most durable option, but they have the longest life as well. Unlike gel, acrylic will not peel.
