On Sunday, former President Joe Biden’s office released a statement announcing that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. According to the statement, the cancer was discovered after doctors found a “small nodule” during Joe Biden’s “routine physical exam.” His diagnosis is characterized by a Gleason score of 9. “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management,” the statement added.
