This year the 2024 Met Gala theme seems to have thrown some celebrities for a loop. This years Met Gala 2024 theme was “Garden of Time.” The theme was a playoff of the Metropolitan Museum of Arts exhibit titled, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” If the goal was to reawaken fashion and these celebs seemingly have so much money and so much help at their fingertips, how did some of them still miss the memo? Who do you think missed the memo this year?

Little house on the prairie. The red coats are coming! Chloe looks like she is fresh out of the 1800s. Maybe the goal was Romeo and Juliette in the garden? Whatever the memo was, it was missed.
She did say the goal was “Victorian mourning hair.” We appreciate such the daring look, but it just wasn’t the right dare.
4. Mike Faist
You may have been wondering when the Met Gala was this year? Did it seem like May 6th just came so quickly? Mike Faist agrees. It came so quickly he forgot to get something to wear! Luckily, he had everything he needed in his closet at home. A black suit jacket, white dress shirt, and khakis.
Oh, but what about the theme? Slap a strawberry on your pocket and go pony boy.
3. Doja Cat
It seems as if Doja Cat met up with Tyla right before the Met Gala and did the singers Tik Tok dance. Ya know, the one, with the water. Yeah, that one. Can someone please explain how a “wet t-shirt” dress coincides with the Garden of Time theme?
Doja must have got stuck in the rain gardening.
2. Ariana Grande
Aside from being carried in, “asleep” the only attention Ariana drew was the kind you want to avoid. You may support Ari’s new look, you may not. Either way, the color did nothing but wash her out and this dress was the furthest thing from flattering on her petite frame.

1. Kim Kardashian
Oh Kimmy, the thought was there it just lacked execution. Some were guessing maybe she was covering a dress malfunction. She mentioned in an interview that the goal was to look like she was running through the garden and had a late night. Causing her to have messy hair, she then added that she had just “grabbed her boyfriends jacket” and that was the end of the night.
Good story but we would have never gathered that without hearing it straight from her. Looks like she missed the 2024 Met Gala theme, sorry Kim.
Met Gala 2024 Conclusion
The bold, the brave and the brutal. From a disheveled Kim K to a soaking wet Doja Cat, the 2024 met gala theme sure gave us something to buzz about for the next few days.
