Alex Cooper Accused Former BU Coach Nancy Feldman of Sexual Harassment

Nancy Feldman

Alex Cooper has publicly accused her former coach, Nancy Feldman, of sexually harassing her while she was at Boston University, as stated on her podcast, “Call Her Daddy.” These serious accusations arose in the docuseries “Call Her Alex,” which premiered on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, on Hulu. Cooper played the sport in the Boston University Division I team from 2013 to 2015; the introduction is sufficient to launch a critical discussion.

Inappropriate Behavior

Cooper detailed where Nancy Feldman was accused of inappropriate conduct. Among the allegations were that she would ask Cooper about her love life, comment on her body, and touch her thigh. Such behaviors made Cooper feel “really extremely uncomfortable.”

According to Cooper, Feldman’s curiosity grew to a “fixation” in her sophomore year, and it would typically arise when they were alone. She would go on to allege that Feldman used playing time as a form of retaliation should Cooper deny him that. For more of her allegations, see this article by People.

University Allegedly Covered Up Nancy Feldman

According to Cooper and her family, they had written documentation of these incidents against Boston University Athletics. But, according to Cooper, the University dismissed her claims without even investigating or punishing Nancy Feldman.

She said that the University didn’t revoke her scholarship, but it also indicated that she wouldn’t be able to play on the team if she didn’t want to be coached by Feldman. Eventually, Cooper chose to leave the team before her senior year. Even the latest case, which forms part of “Woman Sues Costco for $14 Million,” reflects such a scenario with themes of litigation and serious allegations.

Speaking After a Decade

Cooper explained that she has remained silent for a decade because she fears losing her scholarship and has a power dynamic at play. She later said that while filming the docuseries, she discovered that this same alleged misconduct was still happening at Boston University in 2025-once after her experience, a decade later. That discovery made her decide to speak up.

No public statement has been issued at this time by Nancy Feldman or Boston University in response to the allegations. For more on what the documentary disclosed, CBS News has this article.
