Ingredients (Servings 10):
For the crust (You can go for rolled sugar cookie dough as well):
- 1 ¼ cups flour (all-purpose)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
For the frosting:
- ½ cup sugar
- 8-ounce cream cheese (1 packet)
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter
For the toppings (You can choose any tropical fruit):
- Kiwi
- Orange
- Mango
- Pineapple
- Toasted coconut (For crunch)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven in 350°F.
- Mix sugar, melted butter and egg in a bowl until blended well. Later on, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt in the mixture. After mixing all the ingredients well, let it chill for 30 minutes.
- Spread the dough in a pan and bake the crust for 10-15 minutes until brown.
- Take an electrical mixer and blend together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, coconut extract and butter until fluffy and smooth.
- After cooling down the crust, spread the cream frosting all over it.
- Arrange all the fruits on top of the filling. Sprinkle toasted coconut on the pizza and it’s ready.
Chocolate Brownie Based Fruit Pizza
Anything with chocolate is bound to be tasty! Chocolate brownie fruit pizza is more like a treat for both adult and child. Brownie based fruit pizzas generally have strawberry and blueberry toppings as these fruits goes really well chocolate.
Ingredients (Servings 12):
For the crust (You can use readymade brownie mix as well):
- 1 ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs (Room temperature)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (Unsweetened)
For the frosting:
- 8 oz chocolate cream cheese
- 1 cup Nutella
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup sugar
For the toppings:
- Strawberry
- Blueberry
- Banana
- Melted chocolate (For drizzle)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven in 350°F.
- Microwave chocolate chips and oil together for 30 seconds and stir well. Keep repeating it until the chocolate chips get melted fully.
- Take a whisk machine and whisk butter and sugar together. Add vanilla and eggs in the mixture and whisk again. Combine flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa powder and pour them in the mixture. Mix everything together until there’s no lumps left. Then grease a pan and pour the batter into it.
- Bake it for 10-15 minutes and let it cool before adding the frosting.
- Beat the butter until it gets a little fluffy. Add powdered sugar and mix it together. When the mixture comes together add the cream cheese and beat until combined. Later on, add Nutella and mix the whole frosting well.
- After making the frosting, spread it on top of the cooled chocolate brownie.
- Top it up with sliced strawberries, blueberries and bananas. Drizzle melted chocolate in the pizza as much as you want.
Caramel Apple Fruit Pizza
Those who love caramelized apples should definitely try this caramelly and cinnamon fruit pizza. The fruit pizza has a sugar dough cookie crust with the kick of cinnamon. A buttery and creamy frosting with a hint of peanut topped with beautiful granny smith apples.
Ingredients (Servings 8):
For the crust:
- 8-ounce sugar cookie dough
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
For the frosting:
- 8-ounce cream cheese
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
For the toppings:
- Sliced green apples
- 1 cup lemon (Juice)
- ¼ cop caramel sauce
- ½ cup peanuts (Chopped)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven in 350°F.
- Mix sugar cookie dough and cinnamon well, spread the dough in a pizza pan with a rolling pin.
- Bake the dough for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Set aside to cool it down.
- Mix peanut butter and sugar in a mixer well. Add cream cheese and vanilla to the frosting. Mix well until the frosting gets smooth and creamy.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled cinnamon crust.
- Slice the green apples and keep them in lemon juice so that they don’t turn brown. Add the apple slices on top of the frosting.
- To end it up, sprinkle some chopped peanuts and drizzle the pizza with caramel sauce.
