Anthony Scaramucci, 61, who at one time was Donald Trump’s communication director for 10 days, launched a scorching rant on Trump earlier this week. During his rant, Scaramucci went as far as to claim that Melania Trump “hates” her husband. Scaramucci also went on to say Trump was like a “virus” and “wants to be a pandemic on your brain.” Scaramucci has made no secret of his disdain for Trump since he exited his administration.
Scaramucci: Melania Hates Trump
In his rant, Scaramucci went on to say that Trump “wants us talking about him. My (second) wife (Deidre) hates Trump, almost as much as Melania (Trump) hates him. She told me, ‘Don’t go work for him. He’s gonna burn you. He‘s gonna hurt you.”
Scaramucci has openly said that Melania has a great disdain for her husband. While appearing on the author Michael Wolff’s YouTube channel, and admitted that he used Melania’s hate for her husband as a “laugh lines” at events he spoke at.
“One of my laugh lines when I’m out publicly speaking. One thing about laughter is that we say something true, people laugh. I always say that my wife hates Donald Trump almost as much as Melania hates him… I get a good laugh out of that,” Scaramucci said.
Trump’s Behavior ‘Terrifying’
He also shared that he was “terrified” about national security leaks and scandals from Trump and his behavior. Last week, Scaramucci appeared on “The Rest Is Politics US” and called Trump an ageist.
“Trump is an ageist,” Scaramucci said. “He respects people that are his age. He doesn’t respect people that are not his age.” He continued, “If you’re 40, talking to Trump, he actually looks at you like he doesn’t give a sh*t. If you’re 60, talking to Trump, he rolls his eyes. If [Blackstone Group Chairman and CEO] Steve Schwarzman, age 80, calls Donald Trump, he picks up the phone.”
Trump and Saudi Arabia
Scaramucci went on to say that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman took advantage of that tendency. “He’s got an elderly father that’s the king. You want to be feted and treated like a king? I’m half your age, I am going to glitz you up in a way that you’re going to leave here very, very happy.”
Last week, when Trump visited Saudi Arabia, he was treated to over-the-top hospitality that included horses, lavender carpets, and fighter jet escorts. Scaramucci says the Saudi prince’s deference wasn’t cultural but calculated. “That’s exactly what he did,” Scaramucci said.
Scaramucci also warned there was another side to Trump’s diplomacy. “There’s one angel on his shoulder saying you could really be a great president if you just calm the f*** down,” he said. “Then he’s got the devil on the other side saying, ‘Hey, I want to make $200 billion for my family before I blow out of this presidency.’”
