Sean Diddy Combs has been all over the news lately. In the worst ways possible, unfortunately. The man we all thought we knew was running a muck this whole time, living a double life. Behind the music and public persona hid the real Sean Combs. This time, he’s made headlines for an abuse video that has surfaced from 2016 with ex-girlfriend Cassie.

The relationship started in 2007 after Combs split from ex Kim Porter. The couple dated and had multiple public break-up speculations from that time up until around 2016. Sean Diddy Combs posted a picture of a giant ring which Cassie was seen wearing right after. However, no engagement was ever confirmed. A few years later in 2018 one of Cassie’s reps said the two were done for good and had been for months.
In 2019 Cassie made it public that she was in a relationship with personal trainer Alex Fine. Later that year the two announced that they were expecting. Sean Diddy Combs wished the two good luck in an Instagram photo of them.

Sean Diddy Combs Assaults Cassie
The video obtained exclusively by CNN shows Sean Diddy Combs shoving and kicking Cassie during an altercation between the two. The footage was from March of 2016 at a hotel in Los Angeles. This footage matches allegations Cassie made in her lawsuit against him in November.
In the video, Cassie is seen leaving the hotel room and heading to the elevator. Combs runs after her and grabs her by the back of the neck, throwing her to the floor. Once she was on the ground he turned and kicked her all while holding a towel around his waist.
He grabs Cassie’s belongings and then kicks her again. Next, he grabs her sweatshirt and briefly drags her back toward the room before walking away from the scene. She gets up and heads to a phone on the wall by the elevators. Combs is seen sitting down and then grabs an object and throws it at her. He starts walking back toward the elevator and someone is seen exiting the elevator.
Cassie’s Lawsuit
The lawsuit started with Cassie mentioning this exact altercation. She says that Sean Diddy Combs was drunk and punched her in the face giving her a black eye. This is what caused her to leave the hotel room beginning the above abuse.
Combs paid the hotel $50,000 for the security footage from that altercation. Cassie mentioned in the lawsuit not only was she subject to abuse but also raped in her own home in 2018. She also states that she was 19 and he was 37 at the time of their meeting. Combs forced her to engage in sexual activity with other men and recorded the behavior.
Of course, Combs denied everything in Cassie’s lawsuit. The lawsuit was however settled the next day with an unknown amount of money. His attorney stated, “Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
