Spencer Wright, a rodeo star, and his wife, Kallie are mourning the loss of their toddler son, Levi. Their son had been in critical condition since late last month after he drove his toy tractor into a Utah river.
After being hospitalized since the drowning accident which occurred on May 21st, his parents decided to remove him from life support. He passed away on June 2. Levi was only 3.
The accident occurred in Beaver, Utah near the Wright family home. Witnesses lost sight of him in the river and found him unresponsive almost a mile downstream.
Although Levi opened his eyes two days after the accident, he could not recover from such a severe brain injury.
A Touching Tribute Shared On Facebook
On June 2, Kallie Wright shared a touching post on Facebook about Levi. The post shared a happy moment between Kallie and Levi, full of love and fun. The Wright family believed Levi was showing signs he would be making it through this tragic accident from the signs he was displaying.
Any family in this situation would find themselves believing in all signs that everything would turn out positive for their child. However, Kallie revealed that these signs were meant to help prepare them for the tough road ahead of them.
“Levi showed us just enough to buy us time for all of us,” Kallie wrote. “We prayed those things were him defying odds and proving to us that he wanted to stay here but we see now he wanted to give us time to find peace with letting him go.”

“After several sleepless nights, lots of research, multiple conversations with the world’s best neurologists & millions of prayers we are here in the face of our biggest fear,” Kallie wrote.

There’s no doubt that the parents went through the vast number of resources available to them. They were looking to find a way to escape this horrible nightmare they were experiencing.
However, they had to face a parent’s worst nightmare after coming to terms with what they were facing during that time.
