Donald Trump Says His Pal Putin “Has Gone Absolutely Crazy!”

Donald Trump says Vladimir Putin. has gone crazy

Donald Trump says he is losing patience with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Moscow blasted Kyiv and several Ukrainian cities with drones and missiles for days. As the fighting continues, Trump has given his strongest criticism of Putin so far. Trump said earlier this week that Putin is “needlessly killing a lot of people,” adding that the “missiles and drones are being shot into cities in Ukraine, for no reason, whatsoever.”

Airstrike Attack Launched

The airstrike was the largest attack launched by Putin since February 2022. This week’s attacks resulted in at least 12 deaths and dozens of injuries.“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY!” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Sunday.

Trump went on to warn the Russian president that if he continues to try to conquer all of Ukraine, it would “lead to the downfall of Russia!” However, Trump then went on to express his frustration with Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine. He says Zelensky isn’t “doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does. Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop,” Trump said on Truth Social.

Trump is Not So Happy With Russian Leader

Trump has only recently begun to express his displeasure with the Russian president and his inability to end the war with Ukraine, which has gone on for three years now. While Trump was campaigning for reelection, he promised voters that he would quickly put an end to the war. Trump has also repeatedly bragged about his close relationship with Russia’s president, and he went as far as to claim that Russia was more willing than Ukraine to come to a peace deal.

Last month, it became apparent that Trump and the Russian president didn’t have the type of relationship that he often bragged about. Trump urged Putin to “STOP!” attacking Ukraine after another deadly series of attacks on Kyiv. Trump has also recently expressed his frustration that the war continues.

Trump Says Putin Is Killing People

“I’m not happy with what Putin’s doing. He’s killing a lot of people. And I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin,” Trump said on Sunday to reporters before he left for New Jersey, where he spent the rest of the long holiday weekend. “I’ve known him a long time, always gotten along with him, but he’s sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don’t like it at all.”

It does not appear that a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia is anything that will happen anytime soon. Reportedly, Trump and Putin spoke by phone, and soon after, Trump announced that there would be “immediate” ceasefire talks; however, on Thursday, Russia made it clear that there were no direct talks scheduled.

Russia was slapped with new sanctions by the European Union in response to Putin’s refusal to agree on a ceasefire. Trump has threatened that he would step up tariffs on Russia, but he has not acted on those threats.
